Dear Sir/Madam,
We write you in the quality of representatives of the Portuguese National Committee of the European Youth Parliament (EYP Portugal) and Head-organisers of Braga 2016 - Euro-Ibero-American Youth Forum, an event that will take place in Braga, in the north of Portugal, from the 22nd to the 28th of August.
Following the ratification, by all 193 Member States of the United Nations, of the Sustainable Development Goals to be implemented until 2030, the discussions will focus on ten of the most pressing issues of today, all of which central to our umbrella theme: ‘Sustainable Development: Intercontinental Partnerships for People, Planet and Prosperity.’
Students willing to take part will be able to apply for a position between February 18th and April 3r
d. Aiming at reaching the highest possible number of young people, we hereby ask that you help publicise this event to your students and in your academic community. Attached to this e-mail, you may also find the official poster of the event; should you have the chance to, we would be thankful if you could have it printed and put up. If you wish to advertise the event to our students through e-mail, you are welcome to use the template enclosed at the end of this message.

Under the theme ‘Sustainable Development: Intercontinental Partnerships for People, Planet and Prosperity.’, the event will bring together more than 170 young people from all ove

Europe and Latin America for a programme filled with academic debates and many other opportunities for cultural exchange.
If you are between the ages of 18 and 24; if you come from Europe or from an Ibero-American state; if you are currently attending a Bachelor’s, Master’s, Doctoral or other postgraduate degree programme; if you have an interest in debating international relations issues; then, this is the right event for you!
